BBH Classmate Updates
Class of 1973 – Charles “Chuck” Spense
February 26, 2020: After leaving a 30+ year career in banking and finance in LA and NYC, I moved from Manhattan to Maui to own and operate my own small business, a local Maui hotel. After 8 years of improving and building the business, I sold the hotel in 2016 and married the man I love. We have been buying, renovating and selling properties ever since and swear we now are in our ‘forever home’. I now work on our 20+ acre property and do a lot of philanthropic work as a board member of five non-profit organizations in Hawaii. Jim and I have two wonderful dogs and enjoy the amazing ocean views on Maui. I am ever so grateful that my roots were planted in Brecksville and hope to return for the 50th reunion which is not long from now.
Class of 1970 – John Scott Anderson
April 27, 2020: Retired from everyday work and started my own consulting business, Scott Anderson Consulting. It is for non profits and focus is project based fundraising. I also have Scott’s Time. I buy and sell antique American timepieces.
Class of 1962 – Raymond J Sindelar
April 15, 2020: Staying healthy in these troubling times.
Class of 1961 – Bill Holloway
April 12, 2020: Jane and I are members of the Lathrop Kendal Community in Easthampton, MA. I keep busy doing technology support work for the Historic Northampton Museum and am the Chair of the Property Committee of the Congregational Church of Northampton. This congregation was founded in 1661 and the current building which seats 650 was built in 1878. This means lot’s of maintenance items to keep me busy! For relaxation we enjoy camping on the Maine Coast and photographing local wild flowers. Both daughters and their families are in the local area. Look us up if you’re ever in Western Massachusetts!
